Pipeline Engineer
Maintenance of crude (16 inch dia) and white oil (26 inch dia) pipelines for the smooth operation.
Replacement of pilferage clamp with PARCO safety clamp
Sleeve or patch welding on the pitting and pilferage points using API 1107
Preventive, corrective and Schedule maintenance of valve assemblies
Launching and retrieving of brush and magnetic pigs for the internal cleaning of crude and white oil pipeline
Analyze the intelligent pigging reports from Weatherford to find the internal and external pitting in crude and white oil pipeline for is repair and maintenance.
Study of different types of welding, e.g. Oxy-fuel gas welding, SMAW, SAW, TIG, MIG, plasma welding, electron beam welding etc
Use the GPS system of SOKIA for finding the pit points in crude
Study of different types of valve e.g. Gate valve, globe valve, ball valve, plug valve and check valve
Member of QCC (Quality Control Circle) of IMS
Currently, I am working in pumping station (PS-3) of PAK-ARAB refinery limited and I understand the operations in pipeline and delivery to the marketing companies and moreover the repair and maintenance work carried out in different pipeline activities
