During each step of energy conversion application of scientific knowledge and skill for the safe smooth operation and to improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, and economical aspects of Power station.
•Providing direct supervision to Supervisors, technicians and operators involved in boiler, combustion and water chemistry, oil testing, wastewater treatment operation, sampling, chemical analysis, and other related activities, responsible for the short and long term evaluation of the chemical processes, recommending and implementing changes in chemical processes, liaison between company and regulatory agencies on sampling and operational issues related to plant chemistry and Environment, Steam/Water and oil analysis and treatment, and to prepare data, reports and procedures for company use or submission, assist in the research and preparation of documentation for permits and licenses as requested.
•As In charge Chemistry and Environment responsible for,
Monitoring compliance with applicable environmental regulations and to perform better then require where appropriate, especially the World Bank Guide lines1988 "Environmental Criteria for Private Sector Power Projects".
•Commitment with responsibilities and try to reduce our emissions to Land, Water and Air by promoting waste segregation at source and recycle waste.
•To promote environmental awareness among all staff and local community by visiting Schools and Villages in the vicinity sharing environmental information.
•Modifications and plant betterment proposals mainly Chemistry and Environment related.
•Continuous monitoring and controls on emissions and other environmental impacts for example noise.
•Internal environmental audits, toolbox talks, safety and environmental walks and reporting environmental near misses.
•Identifying the environmental responsibilities of staff and design and implement training program.
•Planning zero non-conformities and improvement notes in external Lloyd’s audit for ISO 14001 Certification.
•To manage operation chemistry risks and ensure:
availability of stock items like different range of resins, bulk chemicals, personal protective equipment and environmental and occupational monitoring equipment and kits essential to plant operations.

I am able to carry out Environmental Risk assessments, COSHH application and presentation, Preparation of SOPs, emergency response and handling, Preparation and maintenance of ISO 1400 certification, maintaining calibration records, noise survey and control, monthly, quarterly and yearly station Environmental Report and presentation to management. Liaison with internal and external regulatory agencies, Environment protection by continual effort, calculate and control of Air pollution, calculate and control of Water pollution, calculate and control Oil and water separation, calculate and control of solid waste segregations, calculate and control of different class of hazardous/toxic Land fill operations and preparation of Geo impermeable lining, Continual plant betterment by Plant Modifications, to re-cycle oil, water and other waste. Presently I am working on SOx, NOx, and CO2 Capturing project, for increasing the availability and reliability of Power Plant, and saving Environment. As I have practical experience of, Furnace Operation, Rotary Kiln Operation, Conveying, Crushing, Piling, Filtration, Scrubbers, and their associated operational problems and their remedies/betterments for safe smooth and reliable operation of plant.
