Piping Supervisor

Monitoring, surveillance and witness day to day activities such as fabrication, installation and testing for above and underground piping Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) / Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) / Glass Reinforced Vinyl Ester (GRE).

Ensure that pipe fitter and jointers are qualified for lamination of GRP/GRE/GRVE accordance with ISO 14692 Part 4 Annex D.

Ensure that handling and storage of piping GRP/GRE/GRVE accordance with project procedure and specification.

Monitoring, surveillance and witness day to day activities such as fabrication, installation and testing for above ground piping carbon steel, low-alloy steel and stainless steel.

Ensure that conducting blasting and painting is done in accordance with requirement and specification.

Counter check the materials to be used by the contractor if it conforms on the design specification.

Witness and surveillance equipment delivery receiving, inspection and preservation of works.

Ensure that piping system to be clean before installation/erection and testing (hydrostatic/pneumatic/ leakage testing) accordance with project procedure.

Conduct line checking, surveillance and give instruction to contractor for clearing punch-list prior to Hydrostatic/Pneumatic/Leakage testing of piping.

Ensure that conducting Hydrostatic/Pneumatic/Leakage testing of piping is done in accordance with requirement and project specification.

Ensure that the work works are performed in the line with the field control, quality plan and organize the appliance of check point.

Witness and surveillance for piping systems air-blowing/cleaning and line restoration works to ensure is conducted accordance to project procedure and specification.

Monitoring and surveillance heat exchangers fabrication, erection, dismantling or re-tubing works and hydro-blasting of air coolers.

Ensure that company and project procedures are adhere to during Pre-Mechanical completion.

Involve in planning & execution of Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and operation activities.

Assist the Pre-Commissioning and start-up activities.

Involve in the preparation of Pre-Commissioning and system Commissioning manuals including the development of Commissioning procedures.

Carrying out Commissioning activities safely and as indicated in Commissioning procedures.
