Quality Control Engineer

Deals with the pre-casting and erection of Pier caps for Dubai Metro Project.

Job Profile:
• In charge of the Quality Control program
• Report to the Project and Quality Managers and coordinates with the Construction Managers and Site engineers, other senior staff and employer's representatives to determine that all work conforms to the JTMJV contract quality standards.
• Together with the Q.A Manager establish and update inspection checklists and inspection schedules, procure appropriate testing equipment, and perform other duties as necessary to set up quality controls for all field operations.
• Responsible for the preparation and submittal of all Suppliers and Materials approvals and test certifications and addresses any queries/comments arising there from.
• Coordinate with the respective staff in arranging for all the inspections, obtaining approvals for all quality control, procedures, MST's and other contract documents.
• Responsible for Quality document control and records, the training and qualification of all the quality control inspectors, and for the implementation of all the inspection and testing programs.
• Develop and maintain a filing system for all the Q.C records.
