Electrical Engineer- EPC

Over 2 years experience in Projects as well as O&M of Petrochemical plants in Reliance Industries Ltd, Gandhar Complex. Currently working as Central Engineering Services Engineer in the Commissioning activities for Relene Relocation Project.

The project includes erection to start-up and stabilization of 2 Polymer plants - High Density Poly-Ethylene (HDPE-2) and Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA), its substations and 11KV Satellite Substation (Sat S/S 5).
• Co-ordination of design, engineering, procurement, construction & overall project management activities.
• Experienced with standard Installation and Testing Plans and procedures for ensuring quality in project commissioning and good equipment life.
• Exposure in direct supervision of erection, testing and commissioning of all major Electrical equipments and components of Petrochemical plants.
• Thorough knowledge of HV & LV Systems, Transformers, cabling, HT & LT motors, heaters, construction power etc.
• Knowledge of statutory rules, codes and standards IS/ IEC etc for all elements in an electrical system, Hazardous area classification as per IS, IEC, EIL standards and selection of electrical equipments for these hazardous areas.
• Following a work culture strictly adhering to Dupont standards in Project Construction safety and fair knowledge of OISD and NFPA standards.
• Experienced in Erection to commissioning activities of MV & LV motors up to 11 KV.
• Experience in erection to commissioning activities of transformers ranging from 1MVA Distribution transformers to 40MVA 33KV power transformers.
• Excels in Pre-Commissioning trouble shooting activities, thereby contributing to achievement of Time targets for Project activities.
• In charge of the Soft starters, Resistance starters, VFDs, DC drives, Induction regulators and Static Excitation panels erection to commissioning.
• Fair knowledge of Power system switching equipments up to 220KV including 33 KV GIS.
• Conducting Pre Startup Safety Review (PSSR) as per Du Pont standards and ensuring smooth and safety startup of plant facilities.
• Controlling and training a workforce of contract technicians for the operational activities of commissioned systems in the substation and plant.
