Professional Work Experience (U.A.E– Dubai & India):


1) From January 2007 onwards working with M/s Shinryo Corporation Middle East –Dubai as Safety Officer for their various projects across Dubai and presently working at Palm Jumeirah District Cooling Plant, Dubai.


Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist safety Manager in carrying out his duties and responsibilities and, in the latter is absence or on a project without one, assumes supervisory and other functions called for on a project.

• Carried out investigation of accident/incident, including near miss. Determine probable causes, develops, circulates and enforces appropriate Permanent preventive measures.

• Liaises with the client site Safety Representative and other plant concerned authorities or sub-contractors on work related safety requirements at site.

• Carried out daily site surveys to ensure; only safe work methods are in operation, adequate Welfare and first aid facilities are properly maintained, approved tools are being used, and sufficient appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provides and properly worn.

• Closely monitor scaffold erection / dismantling works, permit-required confined space Entries, crane work / lifting operations, hot work, and equipment energization, tie ins, and similar hazardous activities and ensures all relevant that requirements are complied with.

• Checks and ensures compliance of work force with the approved safe Work Permit System/ Procedures in the plant.

• Participate at Corporate / Project develops Safety Training / Incentive and Awareness programs, attends safety meetings with the Clients / other contractors.

• Ensure that Job Safety Analysis (J.S.A.) is fully observed by supervisors / foremen with their respective work groups.
