System Administration Tasks-
· Managing Active Directory Services, Exchange Server 2003 and ISA Server 2006, File Server
· Managing Disaster Recovery Backups for the DC, ADC, Exchange Server and ISA Server
· Managing GPO’s, NTFS permissions, Mail Spam Controlling, ensure security of the data
· Managing Servers to Avoid Active/Passive Threats Using Firewalls and Antivirus Procedures
· Managing online updates for all the nodes using WSUS Server
· Managing data storage server to store huge amount of data, ensure availability for the users
· Managing availability of 25 branches via VPN Connections using RV82 and SFX41 Linksys Routers
· Managing waves website, do update when required, upload/download using CuteFTP
· Managing Team to provide in house support for 400 nodes and support for the 25 branches
· Managing Servers of DEL PowerEdge 1600,1800,2600,2950 with RAID
Database Administration Tasks-
· Administration of SQL Server 2000/2005 databases
· Analyze, test and implement database designs that support new and existing business applications.
· Managing Performance tuning and resource monitoring of various databases
· Implement database definitions, structure, documentation, and long range requirements
· Ensure data recovery, maintenance, data integrity and space requirements for the MS SQL Server
Database environment
· Coordination with developers on new development projects and systems
· Ensure backup/recovery, installation & upgrades of RDBMS
· Tune SQL performance at both infrastructure and index
· Create/tune/ optimize stored procedures and DTS/SSIS packages.
· Expertise in designing/building/ maintaining transactional replication in big multi-server production
environment
· Designed, implemented and managed SQL Server 2000/2005 Replication for Waves Sales System
and Customer services system databases for 24 Branches
· Managed replication and DB modifications (Schema modification) for replicated objects at both
publisher database and subscriber databases
· Monitoring Replication jobs and schedules these jobs, Ensure data at both Publisher and subscriber.
· Conflict resolution at publisher database for subscribers
