MATERIAL CONTROL MANAGER

In depth working knowledge of,
? International Standards, e.g. API, ANSI, ASME, BS , ISO, etc.
? Responsible for operation of project materials department. Management
of material control operation, receiving, handling, Storing, issuing and
Reconciliation of materials. Lifting methods statements,

? Review all documentation at the project outset to develop a comprehensive list of Material Requirements.
? Control the Stores Service on site ensuring that Systems are in place so that only those authorized by Site Management can draw supplies in accordance with predetermined priorities and approved requests.
? Ensuring that received materials inspected with the appropriate Documentation, raising and processing non-conformance report for non-conforming materials in accordance with procedures receiving materials certification and ensuring implementation of appropriate marking and tractability requirements

? Carry out or arrange for the Technical and Quality Inspection of Materials supplied or being prepared for supply to site, to ensure that Specifications and applicable Code & Standards are met.
? Control “Free Issue” Materials on site ensuring that procedures are in place for the efficient Receipt, Inspection, problem resolution and issuing of materials to authorized personnel.
