„Ã Responsible for project procurement activities reporting directly to project manager.
„Ã Analyzes Material requisitions to ensure clarity and completeness in description of materials and equipment, quantity and quality requirements, proper authorization, delivery requirements, and proper supporting documentation.
„Ã Established and maintained list of qualified suppliers, by commodity, approved by the project.
„Ã Preparing and issuing Request for Quotation (RFQ) to qualified bidders.
„Ã Analyzes bid quotations for responsiveness to (RFQ), evaluating factors such as commercial terms and conditions, price, delivery, financial status, technical capability, quality control, and geographical location of shipping point.
„Ã Negotiating with suppliers for best price, delivery, terms of payment and purchase conditions, tax exemptions, price escalation.
„Ã Coordinate with appropriate department for Technical Approval.
„Ã Processing purchase orders for Local / International supplier after securing required approval
„Ã Proactively Expedite with suppliers for timely and advance delivery of materials.
„Ã Maintaining auditable purchase order files, and ensuring that classified or sealed bid documents are properly stored and secured.
„Ã Closes out purchase orders following confirmation of the successful completion of all contractual and procedural requirements
„Ã Preparing weekly and monthly procurement reports.
„Ã Attend Weekly Material Review meeting with the Project Management
„Ã Working cooperatively with client, subcontractors, vendor employees, project team members and department heads.
