Responsible for risk management and co-ordination of all relevant HSE functions, accident investigation and reporting

1. Presently working in LAHOUD ENGINEERING CO. LTD; ABUDHABI, UAE. as a safety officer for Abu Dhabi Polymer Co. Ltd; Borouge-2- Polyolefin’s Units Product Handling and Marine Project.

2. Worked as a Safety Officer in TADMUR TRADING AND ESTABLISHMENT LTD; QATAR, for Miscellaneous Electrical Works Project in Arab-D Gas Recycling Plant, Dukhan. (QATAR PETROLEUM).

3. Worked as an HSE Officer in TEKFEN CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION CO. INC. (QATAR Branch) for RasLaffan to Messaieed Ethane Gas Transmission Pipeline Project (RMETP) from March 25, 2006 to June 30, 2007.
This pipeline project covers 135 kilometers, from Ras Laffan (Qatar Petroleum’s Gas production area) to Messaieed (Refinery of Qatar Petroleum).

4. Worked as an Assistant Safety Inspector for CHERIYAN VARKEY CONSTRUCTION an ISO Certified company, Kerala, India (Leading Construction Company in Kerala; constructing high rise building, Roads and Bridges) from May 2002 to June 2004.

5. Worked as Assistant Safety Inspector for SARGAM INDUSTRIES Bangalore, India, from May 1998 to March 2002.

• Holder of Permit to Work System Certificate (Level 1, Onshore and Level 2, Offshore) from Qatar Petroleum.

• Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering from National Institute of Fire Engineering (NIFE) Kochi, Kerala, India.

• Diploma in General Mechanic from Sree Rama GOVT: Poly-Technic, Valappad, Kerala, India.


• Holder of H2S/BA Certificate from Venture Gulf Training Centre, Doha, Qatar

• Holder of First Aid Certificate from Indian Red Cross Society, Kerala, India

• Holder of First Aid Certificate from St. John’s Ambulance, New Delhi, India
.
• Pre-Graduation from Calicut University, Kerala, India

OSHA trained. (Two days of intensive training about OSHA standards of safety procedures in construction.)

• One day intensive training on Permit to Work System, LEVEL 1 (ONSHORE) and LEVEL 2 (OFFSHORE) in QATAR PETROLEUM.

• One month intensive Training in National Institute of Fire Engineering Cochin on Fire Fighting Drills, mainly Pump, Hydrant, Hose, Rescue Drills, Breathing Apparatus, extension Ladder Drills, Bend and Hitches. Operations and maintenance of all fixed and portable Fire Fighting Equipment and Systems.

• One day intensive training in Venture Gulf Training Centre, Doha, Qatar on H2S/BA.

• One day intensive training in National Academy for Professional Training, Doha, Qatar on H2S/BA.

•Permit to Work Systems (PTW)
•Confined space entry
•Firefighting with Water Tender ,FMB and Foam generators
•First aid in the event of Electric Shocks, Bleeding, Wounds, Suffocation etc.
•Emergency rescue techniques
•Scaffolding appreciation
•Inspection techniques for small gear and the ability to assist with mobile plant inspections
•Conversant with Safety Auditing procedures.
•Implement the HSE rules and regulations where necessary
•Conduct site surveys and inspections as required and report findings to HSE Manager
•Inspect tools and equipment arriving on site and when on site weekly for compliance.
•Record, analyze all incidents, accidents and near misses and report finding to HSE Manager.
•Ensure environmental, health and Safety requirements and precautions are constantly reinforced.
•Ensure daily toolbox talks are given in appropriate language and recorded
•Ensure site walkthrough tours are completed and that client and subcontractor actively participate
•Prepare all relevant documentation for project equipment and plant inspections for approval
•Ensure compliance with site waste program
•Proven experience in developing and delivering training on personnel safety
•Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for industrial safety, Safety Rules & Procedures, Safety Awareness, Knowledge and working under ISO 9001-2000.
