INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER

PROJECTS :
• SPM (Single Point Mooring) Project of M/s Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd – Kochi Refinery at Puthuvypeen, Kochi during Nov.2006 – Oct.2007 w.r.t implementation of crude oil pumping facilities from the bulk tanker ships to the onshore storage tanks through the pipeline underneath the sea which is ultimately pumped to M/s. Kochi Refinery for the refining process.
Responsibilities includes installation supervision, calibration, inspection and commissioning of field instruments like control valves, motor operated valves, Temperature transmitters, Pressure transmitters, Level indicating controllers related to Vessels, Tanks, Pumps etc as per approved P&ID, layout drawings etc, Supervision of the pipeline erection (approx. 1200mm API 5L GRADE-B) according to the isometrics, planning the work as per the main contract schedule, documentation etc as per the Client / Consultant’s requirements.

• Composite work of Propylene Recovery Unit at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited-Kochi Refinery from March 2008 which involves construction of a new Propylene Recovery Unit which includes a Technological structure, Substation, Mounded bullets for storing the propylene gas and a Flare stack.
Responsibilities include over all co-ordination of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation works, installation supervision, calibration, inspection and commissioning of field instruments like control valves, motor operated valves, Temperature transmitters, Pressure transmitters, Level indicating controllers related to Vessels, Tanks, Pumps etc and unit piping as per approved P&ID, layout drawings, isometrics etc, planning the work as per the main contract schedule, documentation etc as per the Client / Consultant’s requirements.

ACADEMIC PROFILE:
• Completed B.Tech (Electronics & Instrumentation) during the year 2002-2006 from KMEA Engineering College, Aluva affiliated to MG University, Kerala.
Plus Two from Al-Ameen Public School,Kochi during the year 2000-2002.
SSLC from VVBEMHS, Aluva during the year 2000.

EXTRA TRAINING/COURSES
Undergone a training program, STCW-95 from United Marine Academy,Navi Mumbai which is valid for Offshore and Rig activities.
