Professional Experience

13-year experience in Mechanical (Fabrication & Welding), At Petrochemical Projects, Oil & Gas Plants and Pipelines, Power Plants, Chemical Plants, Fabrication shops and Water Treatment Plants.
I have comprehensive technical knowledge and fully qualified to plan, execute, supervise and test all tasks associated with welding and fabrication including the co-ordination of personnel. My background experiences cover QA / QC Supervisor / Inspector-
(welding / ndt & piping), Project / Process & Mechanical Supervisor.

JOB DISCRIPTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES;

Inspects welded joints of work in progress and of completed structures/pressure vessels/piping/pipelines/tanks for visible weld defects, correct dimensions, weld sizes, type of weld etc., in conformance with approved drawings, quality control-procedures and Inspection & Test Plans.

Incoming Material Inspection
Marks defective pieces and recommends scrapping or methods for reworking. Records inspection data. Raises NCR's for defective products or workmanship.

Verifies traceability of materials during in process inspection for all piping components and checks accordingly to its material color coding, stock code number and heat number and log-in to isometric drawing for final reference.

Ensure that all materials use for fabrication and welding parameters conformed to the project specification requirements, scope of works and on approved drawing for construction.

Verifies alignment and dimensions of structure/vessels/piping/tanks in process and
On completion.

Monitors for the implementation and inspection based on project specifications and quality control procedures for the fabrication of all piping which are fabricated at shop and site locations.

Inspection of fabricated items at vendor premises or on receipt at Store/ Warehouse.

After visual acceptance of a weld, requests for the required NDT of that weld as per approved weld maps and follow up with NDT to ensure it is carried out and reported
Reviews and Interpretation of Radiographs, as per relevant codes and specifications.

To Review & control Final Documentations.

Specialization in Welding & Sheet Metal Technology
From Swedish Pakistani Institute of Technology, Gujarat, Pakistan

Inspection and Hydro-testing of the Valves.
Thickness monitoring by DME-DL, DM2 thickness meters, on Piping and Equipments.
