To lead, manage and motive project HSE team in implementing the company policy and procedures ensuring safe work operation by preserving employees, asserts and environment.

To manage and coordinate country health, safety and environmental activities and provide safety support services to the company, projects and clients. Development of Site Safety Policy, Procedures and Manual for the project. Carry out frequent site survey to ensure that, work methods are in operation are fully safe that welfare facilities are adequate and properly maintained. Conduct Safety Audits and Inspections to evaluate HSE performance. Participate in Incident Investigation to ascertain Root Cause/s and required corrective / preventive actions and advise Site Project Management. Participate in Safety Committee Meetings and in other meetings related to safety. Duties also included interface between client, local agencies, training, new hire orientation, and safety audits, monitoring and evaluating sub-contractors safety programs. Also provide medical first aid as required and inspection of plants and equipments. Check the competency of the operators. Development and implementation of HSE action plan. Co-ordinate in external HSE audits ensure all personnel are aware of emergency procedures and fully understand through training and exercises. Keep up-to-date records of all HSE documents.
