WORK AS HSE MANAGER IN LARGE EPC PROJECT IN EITHER OIL & GAS, PIPELINE, POWER PLANT, INFRASTRUCTURE OR HIGH RISE BUILDINGS.

A. Functioning as Manager for Transglobe (QHSE) Management Consultant FZC, Based in Hamriyah Free Zone Authority, Sharjah; Since 26th August 2008.


Manage HSE compliance during fabrication and construction of Rigs and Buoys.
Conduct Marine safety induction, conduct HSE training and ensure use of Marine safety equipment. Periodical inspection / maintenance of Fire and marine safety equipment.
Implement Confined Space entry / Tag-out & Lock-out / Permit to Work System.
Maintain necessary log books for safe entry / exit. Gas testing during hot work and confined space entry. Ensure and monitor use of specific Personal Protective Equipment. Prepare and implement Emergency Procedure / Evacuation Plan. Ensure provision of First –Aid material and approved First – Aiders. Ensure all Safety signage and notice boards are in place. Conduct necessary HSE meetings / Tool – box talks periodically. Ensure Accident Reporting / Investigation and documentation. Conduct various training programs for awareness of Client’s HSE Policy / HSE Plan.

Prepare and conduct training programs for Quality and Safety awareness among various levels of employees. Provide approved training courses for various industries, companies as per statutory requirements. Coordinate necessary training as required during ISO 9000, ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational health) certification process. Prepare various HSE document like Risk assessment, HSE Plans, Safety procedures, Emergency plans etc. Coordinate during third party certification and training programs.




B. Worked as Project HSE Manager for On Plot Surface Facilities at Qarn Alam Steam Project For PDO / DODSAL, During Startup / Design – Phase. This is the first Enhanced Oil Recovery Project of its kind at this scale in the world. Total estimated cost 1.23 Billion US Dollars.

Completed 4 years of Apprenticeship in Larsen & Toubro Ltd. Powai Works, Mumbai, India.

Passed Diploma in Industrial Electronics (D.I.E) from S.B.M. Polytechnic in the year 1987.

Passed Diploma in Industrial Safety (D.I.S) from I.I.S.P.I. in the year 1991.
Both Diploma examinations conducted by Board of Technical Examinations, Maharashtra State.

Passed IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health, U.K.) Course, March 2003.

Passed Doctorate Degree in ‘Health, Safety & Environment Management’ from Rochville University (USA) in September 2005.

Passed NEBOSH National General Certificate Course in December 2005.

Passed OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor Course (DNV, Dubai) on 31st Jan. 2008.

Passed EMS 14001 Lead Auditor Course (DNV, Dubai) on 13th Mar. 2008.

Passed Train the Trainer Course, Conducted by National Training Institute (Oman) &

Prepared all required HSE documents such as Project HSE Plans, HSE Procedures Manuals, Emergency Plans, Risk Assessments, HSE Audit Programs etc.

Worked as Project HSE Manager for Dodsal Pvt. Ltd. in Muscat (PDO Project) during Design, Mobilisation, Planning, Start up phase of Qarn Alam Steam Project.
