Steward, Imperial College Union 2007- Current

-Responsible for ensuring that all events take place safely and that health and safety protocols are followed properly.
-Ensuring that customers receive the highest level of customer service and a highly personalized service.
-Providing necessary support to security when required to ensure customer safety.
-Received training in areas such as crowd control and fire safety.
- Ensure that union policy regarding alcohol is enforced throughout the venue.


Summer Internship, Petrobangla 2008

-Technical assistant at the Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration Corporation.
-Gained experience in working with specialized software.
-Worked with the geological team in interpreting seismic sections.
-Assisted in compiling figures for exploration reports.



Vice President, Imperial College Bangla Society 2008-2009

-Responsible for marketing the new society to Imperial’s Bengali students as well as to students from other London universities.
-Heading the publicity section for the society so in charge of overseeing production of posters and other publicity materials for society events.
-Building and maintaining relationships with other Bangla societies across universities in order to collaborate on events.
-Establish and maintain links with the High Commission of Bangladesh in order to benefit from their experience in promoting the culture of Bangladesh.
