Materials Controller

• Responsible in material receiving and to provide information regarding current and future material availability.
• To inspect the material received as per purchase order list and material test certificates.
• Supervise and direct the activities of the sub-contractors in the warehouse.
• Manage the operation of the Project Stores in support of construction activities using Project Procedures to ensure that the management of materials and associated documentation is carried out in a controlled manner.
• Ensure that proper provision for materials control, storage, receipt and issue are made at the construction site as per Quality Control Procedure and other areas as necessary.
• Ensure that all materials receipts and inter-site movements are in accordance with project programs for fabrication and construction.
• Ensure that all the withdrawals and issuances of materials are in accordance with the project drawing requirements, ISO.
• Ensure that all works carried out within the project, warehouse and lay down areas are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Arrange expediting of materials and supervise the controlled reconciliation of all materials throughout the project.
• Ensure that project operational spares are in accordance with project programs.
• Generate computer records relative to all material movements, availability and inspection.
• Inspect for OSI&D report defects and certification to client and Project Completion.
• Organize inventory of the materials in the warehouse in a timely manner.
• Coordinate to the procurement department for material tracking and availability.
• Organize transport and waste disposal as require
