general responsibility:
•carry out the major overhauls, repairs and maintenance of drilling tools and equipment.
•keep equipment clean and stored correctly to enshure optimal safety and efficiency in the operation of edc rigs using the proper tools.
•working under pressure on offshore & onshore rigs .
dutes:
• shall carry out maintenance and repair work on drilling tools and equipment delivered to EDC Tool Maintenance Workshop.
• shall carry out maintenance and repair work on drilling tools and equipment on edc rig sites.
• shall deliverto and receive from external workshops drilling tools and equipment which cannot be repaired at edc's tool maintenance workshops.
• shall prepare material orders for parts and supplies to be approved by the tool maintenance workshop.
• shall ensure that repairs are reported back in writing as well as reported back to pms section and that records are filed properly.
• shall implement edc safety procedures and work instructions.
• shall adhere/respond to edc quality management system.
