Job Description:
• Responsible to assist the Finance Director, in the review and management of procurement processes and finance-related administration functions of the company.
• Supervision of the Procurement Control Team.
• Review of processes and policies on regular basis with the view to improve controls yet brings practicality to users, ensuring equitable quotes and best prices for Company.
• In relation to the above, to update the Spend Policy and Renovations and Maintenance Procedures accordingly.
• Perform evaluation of supplier(s) to accredit the supplier(s) as part of Companyˇ¦s panel of suppliers
• Ensure compliance of the processes and procedures set out in Spend Policy and Renovations and Maintenance Procedures, which includes, among other things, the following
• 1. Issuance of Purchase Orders;
• 2. Criteria and cost set out in Project Appraisal Report (PAR);
• 3. PAR is duly approved by relevant designated persons;
• 4. Completeness of tenders in respect of:
• - Bids send out to bidders;
• - Evaluation of all bids in a fair and equitable manner
• - Renovations of properties ˇV bill of quantities and costings
• 5.Purchase Committee
• - Review of summary of comparison of tenders that facilitate quick and analytical review by members of Purchase Committee
• - Ensure proper minutes of meetings and meeting procedures
• To monitor compliance by users with the Spend Policy and where necessary to recommend corrective action
• To communicate the Spend Policy to all users on a regular basis
• Close liaison with Expense Control team during budget preparation to review reasonableness of budget expenses.
• Close liaison with Expense Control team to ensure only spend is budgeted
• Assist in review of PAR
• Assist in review of Post Implementation Report (PIR)

I have finished my almost 17 years plus In, Power Station 2100mw, Logistics, Oil and Gas and purchasing or partner function to purchasing system. I have knowledge of freight and purchasing procedures. Example request for quotation, tender, latter, enclosing tender, sale letters and voluntary offers, orders and their fulfillment, complaints and adjustments, invoicing and settlements of accounts.
Experience in monitor, control and execute to ensure material availability to support customerˇ¦s demands. Track material coverage verses demand report and actual site and production use. Manage stock levels of inventory materials, implementing and maintaining a centralized stock control system and good planning, organizing company asset, audit and good negotiation or communication skills. Procure non-direct materials, shop supplies, general equipment and all kind of material according world standard requirements example ISO, UKAS, British and others Futures Standard (IEA).
