Continue a career in the Project Management/Production field where my knowledge, skills and abilities may be utilized to enhance both company and personnel gains. 25 years experience in Power, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas and General Industry.

Project Management: Supervising project activities and handling the complete cycle of the project management entailing requirement gathering and final execution of projects. Providing support for Erection, Testing/Commissioning. Spearheading project activities involving pre-construction design review and coordination, construction progress and quality control, project completion, startup, testing and acceptance etc. Reviewing the project progress on all aspects viz. material, drawings and actual site construction with senior staff regularly and taking necessary corrective actions to meet project schedule. Appraising project feasibility after considering wide spectrum aspects such as existing capacity levels in terms of manpower, machinery and technology, scope of enhancing the resources and accordingly deciding the future course of action.

Site & Construction Management: Supervising overall construction activities of the power plant including providing technical inputs for construction/coordination with site engineers. Overseeing engineers for various types of jobs and resolving bottlenecks. Preparing and reviewing Method Statements and erection schedule, Work Specific Quality Control Plans. Ensuring materials received are in accordance with the quantity & quality.

Contract Management: Review of technical/commercial proposals, of drawings along with handling contract/billing related formalities, & documentation. Reviewing sub-contractor’s claims related to mechanical works and preparing recommendations for claims approval or rejection.

Quality & Coordination: Developing an integrated management system in order to meet the standard requirements of various quality standards. Taking stringent quality measures including preparation/maintenance of necessary documents to ensure compliance with standards & customer requirements. Implementing effective quality as per ISO standards.

Vendor Development/Project Procurement: Identifying and developing cost effective vendors at domestic/international level for procurement of project equipments based on technical specifications. Coordinating procurement activities like enquiries, follow up for offers, technical and commercial comparisons finalizing suitable supplier, contract negotiations, etc. Reviewing purchase orders with regard to technical requirements, delivery and commercial terms.
