Middle East for Operation & Maintenance of Hydrocarbon Industries (MIDOM)
At MIDOR refinery –Alexandria free zone
-Job title: Plant inspection engineer.
-Optimize the availability and reliability and service life of all static equipment (Towers – Vessels – Heat Exchangers – Heaters – Reactors – Tanks … ETC)
-Determine the required inspection and maintenance strategy for static equipment to achieve target in very cost effective manner.
-Follow up application of HSEQ procedures and ensure full awareness of HSEQ rules by all subordinators and contractors as work program.
-Using computer maintenance management system (CMMMS) program in all planned work.
-Responsible of inspection activity during operation
-Familiar of utilization of conventional inspection instruments during inspection which including the following:
Boroscopes, Positive material identification (PMI), photography, MPI, PT, UT, tube expanding M/C…etc.
-Carry out the inspection and testing of items of plant and equipment at the Refinery to the requirements of the Inspection Procedures.
-Carryout inspection and testing of new static equipments during fabrication and/or on completion as required.
-Sharing in shut down planning.
-Monitor ongoing PWHT and radiography and assess results.
-Write and sign reports of the results of each inspection carried out personally.
-Accept on-call duties for refinery emergencies and turnarounds.
At AMOC Petrochemical plant – Alexandria Egypt
-Internal inspection and evaluation of the Vacuum distlation tower.
-Usage of PMI (Positive Material Identification).
-Inspection on air cooler tubes using endoscope.
-Evaluation of the heater tubes using hardness tester & ultrasonic testing.
Eductation
-B. Sc in Production Engineering from Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University. Cumulative grade: fair (graduated in June 2004)
-High school: international general certificate of secondary education (IGCSE).
- Corrosion control by material selection and cathodic protection at University of Alexandria Research center (UNARC)
- Oil refining technology by the northern Alberta Institute of technology (NAIT) and oil & gas skills (OGS) in MIDOM training center.
Certification
1.Certified according to the American Welding Society (AWS) as welding inspector (CWI). Certificate no. 09013651
2.Certified according to the American Society for Non- Destructive Testing in the following non-destructive methods:
o Dye pentrant testing level II.
o Magnetic particle testing level ІІ.
o Ultrasonic testing level ІІ.
o Radiographic testing level ІІ.

- AutoCAD (2004 and 2007) 2D: Proficient user.
- Microsoft office package (XP, 2007).
- Very good knowledge with hardware and personal computer maintenance.
