QA/ QC ENGINEER ,SITE ENGINEER ,MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Started working from May, 2009 to Till date as a QA-QC Engineer/Site Engineer with a leading company (A member of Arabtec PJSC Holding Group), in UAE which has expertise in Structural Steel Fabrication and Erection.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible and reporting to the Project Manager.
• Reviewing Contract Documents and studying drawings in detail ensuring their clarity and adequacy.
• Following up with safety erection method statements and making arrangements of site survey
• Coordinating with the surveyor to get the as-built report prepared before fabrication.
• Raising Material Inspection Request for all the materials as per delivery to site.
• Checking the Materials and Reports (Fit up & Dimensional, Welding visual, NDT and Painting reports) before raising the Inspection Request.
• Coordinating with client and sub-contractors throughout the various phases of the contract.
• Following up with safety erection method statements and making arrangements of site survey and executing the Erection work as per the Project Specification, ITP & Method Statement.
• Acting as point of contact, supervising and coordinating with work force, monitor and control the project on day-to-day basis through its period of execution to ensure an efficient, economical and timely completion of the project with safety precaution and without compromising on quality and also notify the Project Manager and the Client in case of any variations.
• After erection of steel beams, hollow sections (both rectangular, circular and square), arranging and coordinating with surveyor in checking the alignment and levels of steel structures to get the site survey reports.
• Coordinating and arranging Third Party personnel for inspection.
• Carrying out preliminary inspection of materials of construction and reviewing the material mill test certificate.
• To check all repairs are perform correctly and non destructive tests are regularly repeated.
• To keep a report file for all non-destructive tests.
• Identifying and issuing of non-conformity as observed during working.
• Implementing the QA/QC procedure during erection.
• Planning work execution as per work vender specifications / requirements & work target.
• Conducting thorough stage wise inspection as per procedures / codes as well as alignment & assembly of beams and columns at site during installation.

Bachelor of Technology in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING (B.Tech): Calicut University, India, 2008

 American Society For Non Destructive Test (ASNT) - Level-II, certified by St. Johns Institute of NDT, India
 AutoCAD-2008 (Level-I & Level-II), certified by Autodesk Authorized Training Centre, India
 Pro Engineer (Pro/E), certified by CAD Centre, India
 International English Language Testing System (IELTS) (Overall Band Score – 6.0), certified by IELTS, Australia
