Position: Assistant HSE Coordinator/Environmental Focal Point
Duties:
Provide internal monitoring and compliance assurance on effective implementation of EMPs for project to eliminate legacy issues arising from failed implementation
Support the delivery on Environmental Monitoring to ensure full implementation of Regulatory environmental monitoring requirements
Provide specialist advice to Project Team on Environmental Monitoring and performance.
Monitor trend and identify key thrusts and initiatives for continuous improvement in Project Environmental performance.
Provide the regular update, reporting and information dissemination of all Environmental performance data to Project Management, Corporate HSE and other stakeholders.
Carry out QA/QC checks on all Environmental Data reported by Contracotrs.
Provide internal compliance assurance to applicable national laws and standards, and, also, support the monitoring and reporting implementation of Shell Global Environmental Standards. -
Provide Environmental Monitoring Performance summary and present coordinated report to regulators.
Drive monitoring of Environmental Management Plan (EMP) implementation for approved Impact Assessments - ESHIAs
Actively participate in in-house HSE training as a resource person
Facilitate HSE document review sessions for the team
Facilitate the implementation of Permit To Work procedure for all site activities
Managed and deployed dedicated site inspectors (12 direct reports) to provide HSE support for all CCIP sites.
