6. Preparations and titrations of medication thru intravenous drips like dopamine,dobutamine, levophed, nicardipine, nitroglycerine, insulin, furosemide, epinephrine, streptokinase, sodium bicarbonate, diazepam, hydralazine, isosorbide dinitrate, heparin, aminophylline, and midazolam
7. Preparation, administration and regulation of intravenous fluid.
8. Preparation and administration of blood products like fresh whole blood, packed red blood cells, platelet, and fresh frozen plasma.
9. Doing tracheostomy care and oral care for intubated patients.
10. Taking of vital signs
11. Performance of tepid sponge bath and beth bath.
12. Can operate mechanical ventilator, infusion pumps and cardiac monitor
13. Did defibrillation and cardioversion with supervision of a physician
14. Can perform Electrocardiogram test
15. Performed suctioning thru endotracheal, tracheostomy, oral and nasal routes
16. Insertion of Foley catheter both male and female
17. Measurement of intake and output accurately
18. insertion of nasogastric tube
19. Feeding of patients thru oral, nasogastric and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy routes
20. Preparation, administration and regulation of Total parenteral nutrition.
21. Assisted in surgical procedures like thoracentesis, paracentesis, pericardiocentesis, and central venous access insertion.
22. Preparation of patient for surgery and for diagnostic procedures.
23. Caring for post operative patients.
24. Doing health teaching to both patient and significant others regarding the disease process, diet and medications.
25. Performing foot care to diabetic patients and also teaching them how to do it at home.
26. Performing and interpreting capillary blood glucose testing.
