• Manage rig operations to ensure the crew is trained in optimal safety performance of all duties and safety procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements

• Organize rig crew to move and set-up drilling rig and camp
• Perform periodic calculations to ensure proper bit weight, and direction of the tool face to ensure system accuracy and elimination of human error

• Operate drilling and hoisting equipment, and manage the rig floor and driller’s console, making adjustments to instruments and gauges as conditions require
