Professional Experience
Hydraulics: Commissioning of new systems, preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and subsequent rectifications, valve block repairs and exchanges, authorized modifications, system overhauls, extendable ram replacements and re-seals, reading and following of system diagrams.
Engines: Preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and subsequent rectifications, authorized modifications, fuel system overhauls (diesel, petrol and L.P.G) lift and injection pump alterations, engine overhauls and set ups.
Pneumatics: Preventative maintenance, system fault diagnosis and subsequent rectifications, authorized modifications, air receiver/separator overhauls and examinations, compressor exchanges, reading and following of system diagrams.
Electrics/Electronics: Preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and subsequent rectifications, relay and board exchanges, soldering and crimping, reading and following of system diagrams.
Loler-Puwer: Fully qualified inspector and examiner in line with Loler-Puwer regulations 1998.
Latchways Fall Arrest Systems (cable based): Installation and certification of new systems, re-certification of existing systems on various offshore installations.
Supervisory/Managerial: Supervised and trained technicians and apprentices within the forklift truck industry. Maintenance Manager for a forklift truck company. Scheduling maintenance and rectification plans whilst dealing with a customer base. Locating and ordering of all required parts. Directing and aiding engineers with there tasks ensuring all work is completed as per schedule.
