To technically support Instruments & Control engineering team in the development of design products, quality assurance of deliverables, planning resources and estimating the costs involved, with the purpose of accomplishing the projects’ objectives

Electronic Engineer Bachelor, with 09 years of experience in Instrumentation, Automation & Control Engineering within Multidisciplinary and Automation Projects in the Oil and Gas, Food and manufacture Industry.
Experience includes:
• Basic and Detailed Engineering, Construction, Startup and Commissioning.
• Project Planning and Scheduling.
• Advanced knowledge of Architecture, Design, Development, Programming and Startup Systems PLC (Control, ESD, F&G), DCS and SCADA.
• Programming and configuration advanced of PLC (Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, Siemens, ICS Triplex), SCADA Systems (Wonderware, IFix, Oasys, RSView) and DCS Systems (IAS Foxboro).
• Advanced knowledge of Communications protocols to include, but not limited to: RS232, RS485, HART, Ethernet, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of Safety, Monitoring and Control Instruments.
• Design Engineering for Fired and Gas System (F&G System), detection and extinction
• Design Engineering for Emergency Shutdown System (ESD System)
• Good Knowledge of Mass Balance, Custody Transfer, Flow Stations, Gas and Oil Manifold Automation, Electro-submergible pumps (ESP), Progressive Cavities Pump (PCP), Multiphase Pump, Multiphase Flow Meter, Effluent Water Treatment, Oil Treatment, Water Injection Plant, Compressing Gas Plant, and Gas Lift Manifolds.
• Participation in studies like HAZOP, What if?, SIL.
• Development of technical specifications for procurement and EPC project bidding, as well as bid evaluation.
• Development of Cause and effect Diagram and P&ID Diagram.
• Good knowledge of International Standards, including: IP, NORSOK, COPNO Technical Specifications, DEP, API, NFPA, ISA, IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, PDVSA Standards.
• Good knowledge of Specification of instrumentation in ISA Format (Transmitters, Control & Shutdown Valves and Actuators: Pneumatic, Electrical and Electro-Hydraulic, Mass Flow Meters, DP Flow, Vortex & Magnetic flow Meters, Level Displacers & Radars, among others).
• Good computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook Express), AutoCad®, and Visual Basic.
• Bilingual: English (intermediate) and Spanish.
• Hold good interpersonal and organization skills. Self-motivated, result-oriented, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Able to work within a team environment. Organized and detail oriented, with strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
