Position Held : Mechanical Engineer
Tendering, Design and Construction work for Water Projects.
Scope of Work :
-Construction of Station Piping (max. dia 96”), installation of Pumps, valves, dismantling joints and fixing of valve & pipe supports.
-Pump alignment with motors and final alignment of station piping with the pumps.
-Installation & flushing of Lube oil system for pumps.
-Hydrostatic testing of pumping station as per approved test pressures.
-Preparation of log book for welding NDT and coating lining records.
-Preparation of ECC, SCC and MCC documentation for pumps, station piping and equipments.
-Working on ASME, ANSI, API, ASTM, MSS & ISO standards.
-Review of Hydraulic Reports, Stress Analysis Report and Wall Thickness Determination Reports.
-Calculation of pipe thickness as per API 5L and pipe fittings as per ASME B31.4.
-Review of Plot Plans, P&ID, PFD and Station Piping Drawings
-Tendering based on best product selection as per client requirement.
-Preparation of Bill of material for all about products/equipments based on P&ID and General layout drawings.
-Analysis of quotation from different manufacturers / vendors.
-Preparation of comparative statement for project managements with technical report.
-Preparation of Purchase Orders. Excellent interpersonal and self-motivating skills.
-Preparation of Specification & Method Statement for design approval from consultant.
-Preparation of Monthly, Bi-Weekly Reports and Percentage curves in order to reflect the Real vs. Actual Engineering Progress.

-Preparation & checking of Layout Drawings based on modification on LPG Plant.
