ć Programming, installation and service of Motorola SCADA (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition) systems for Oil wells, Booster Stations, Gathering Centers (GOSPs), and Mobile units. Programming and service of Motorola handheld radios and base stations.
ƒá Routine Preventive maintenance, hardware optimization, and fault diagnosis of Motorola SmartZone and Simulcast trunk radio network of KOC¡¦s 7 repeater sites, OFC/microwave links, telemetry and SCADA systems.
ć Installation, testing and commissioning of GSM network, providing HSDPA, GPRS, EDGE data services to KOC offices and remotely located oil-rigs
ƒ{ Programming and service of Motorola MCS 2000 radio, CPU used for SCADA system, Motorola XTL-5000 & Spectra (base station), XTS-5000 & SABER (handheld unit).ƒ{ Programming, monitoring and configuration of RTUs, ROC & PLC (ABB, DAELIM, FISCHER ROSEMONT).ƒ{ Preventive maintenance and optimization of Motorola QUANTAR repeaters, E1-T1 converters, combiners and other radio network elements. ƒ{ Maintenance of transmission link between the KOC¡¦s exchanges, for working of Radio circuits, for LAN & WAN and video conferencing between various sites.ƒ{ Coordinating with the splicing team using OTDR, light source, laser source, power meter during optical fibre cable faults.
ƒ{ Programming System and Radio monitoring console software.
ƒ{ Software and hardware support for Drilling Information Management System for Rigs on 24 X 7 basis.
ƒ{ HSDPA/3G/EDGE/GPRS support for real time operations and management of Drilling data for Rigs.
ƒ{ Providing and maintenance of UMTS/ GSM equipments to the top ranking officials in the company.

- Daily housekeeping, which includes maintaining of daily time sheets of employees and vehicles in the section.
