Duties: Monitoring Plant’s Electrical Rotating & Stationary Equipments like… UPS (7.5KVA, 2 X 20KVA), 26V & 110V Battery Chargers, Transformers (40KVA, 150KVA, and 1.6MVA), Critical motors& starters, HT/LT switchgears & Protection, Energy Consumptionmeters.
Responsibilities: Follow instructions in coordination with shift in charge (Prod.) to carried out Maintenance Work & troubleshoot of electrical equipments, control circuits etc. Immediate restoration of electrical system during tripping or breakdown.
Working Experience:
Power generation & distribution :
Familiar with Operation of PLC based electrical control system, synchronization surveillance of electrical alternators with LMS.
Primary Distribution :
11KV 3-phase, 3-wire for distribution transformers & motors with rated power up to 1350KW.
Intermediate Distribution:
3.3KV, 3-phase, 3-wire for distribution transformers & motors with rated power up to 1200KW
Secondary Distribution:
415V for distribution switch boards (PCC) & (MCC) with rated power up to 150 KW and misc. load.
Control and Regulation: Preventive Maintenance / Overhauling / repairing of LV motors (0.36KW to 150 KW), Transformers(40 KVA to 5 MVA), MOCB’s, ACB’s, VCB’s, MOV’s, Battery Charger(26V, 110V) & Battery banks (100AH,140AH, 245AH, 265AH) Nicd & lead-acid, EOT cranes,Emergency portable lights

Execute Field Electrical Maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance schedule.
Periodical checks, oil sample test, HVDC test of power cable, IR/PI, WR test, Battery load test.
Read Electrical Schematic Drawing & Troubleshoot abnormalities arising in the plant.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:
1 Diploma in ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING with Distinction in NOV-2006 from Dr. J N MEHTA Govt. poly .AMRELI, GUJARAT, INDIA.
