Superintendent/Consultant: Painting / coatings / insulation/ fire-proofing

To serve as a consultant/advisor or Superintendent for construction activities related to my scope of work

Seventeen years of experience in the Blasting, Coatings, Insulation and Fire-proofing fields in the petrochemical, oil and gas projects.
Substantial Knowledge in the fields of corrosion and cathodic protection. Head of the Construction department for the coatings, insulation and fire-proofing, paint control and corrosion analysis team of oil and gas development projects in phase 1 and 2 in Habshan, Abudhabi, U.A.E. Part of the turn key team in various projects (onshore and offshore), bottle and de-bottle necking in different projects in the Middle east related to coating and insulation activities.

Supervision and analysing the paint activities on site and in the shop.
Vessel/tanks internal and external lining and coatings and holiday inspection. Supervision and application of high performance epoxy coatings, U/G coatings and poly vinyl esters. Analysis and evaluation of cathodic disbondment, application and inspection of thixotropic polyamide epoxies.Coating/wrapping/3 layer PPP/canusa coatings and inspection of FBE coatings.

Led a team specialised in Galvanising/ sheridising / passivation and Passive Fire protection. Cold conservation using poly isocyanurate, polyurethane foam and foam glass. Heat conservation using rock wool, mineral wool, calcium silicate, elastomeric nitrile rubber etc. Acoustic insulation using mineral wool and fire-proofing insulation using cellular glass. Thermally sprayed Aluminium. Part of the rapid response crisis management project Team

bachelors degree in chemical engineering and a masters degree in business administration.
