Senior Testing Field Engineer

Assist clients with the optimization, production, and testing of a well or reservoir. Main disciplines: • Tubing Conveyed Perforating (TCP) • Drill Stem Testing (DST) • Surface Well Testing (SWT)

Main responsibilities and duties:
• Take essential role in project planning and client meetings.
• Prepare and dispatch equipment to the wellsite within strict deadlines.
• Prepare and sign service orders.
• Supervise wellsite operations (prepare and run equipment) to ensure delivery of service quality and compliance with strict environmental and safety requirements.
• Maintain direct contact with client’s representative throughout running of a service and during all critical parts of an operation.
• Analyse tool failures and make decisions to send for replacements or use alternative techniques. Document and report failures and recommend actions/solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Evaluate possible scenarios and prepare effective contingency plans to adapt to any changes during an operation.
• Continue to improve the quality of the testing services and results in the most difficult and unpredictable environments.
• Sustain positive client relations through high quality of services.
• Train junior personnel and endorse knowledge sharing not only within current location but throughout the company.
• Organize and run in house training courses and presentations.
• When acting as crew chief/supervisor review and appraise the performance of subordinates.
• Actively participate in recruitment campaigns and university relations.
