Responsible for engineering/drafting department consist of structural and piping engineers, structural and piping designers, material specialist, AutoCAD operators, document controller and technical clerk, total number 25
Approve all the shop and proposal drawings
Planning of resources to provide effective engineering support to ongoing and future projects
Support commercial department with proposal drawings, material weight and engineering budget
Bring to the attention of Projects Director and Commercial Manager any contractual problems and change orders
Update and development of departmental procedures in support of the company’s Quality Assurance System.
Ensure that the engineering department employees working practice complies with the company’s HSE requirements.
Ensure that the personnel are suitably qualified to perform their delegated duties and monitor their performance.
Optimize relationships with other departments with the goal of improving company performance.
Responsible for engineering project planning and performance monitoring (Time & Budget)
Identify and implement appropriate training for department personnel.
Attend weekly Project Review meetings.
Organize internal and external progress meetings.
Ensure that the necessary decisions and actions are taken to progress the works.
Liaise between customer and projects.
Delegation of tasks to engineering and ensuring budget targets are met
Monitor material management function with respect to project materials and equipment.
Liaise with purchasing and planning to generate material status report

Good Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Primavera project planner, Microsoft project plannerand STAAD pro
