Overall Duties and Responsibilities:
•Detailed engineering support and inter-discipline coordination.
•Assist the Chief Civil/Structural Engineer and primary responsibility is to carry out design requirement in preparing engineering and construction drawings within the area of a project and ensure technical aspect and integrity of the design is maintained in case of modification in engineering or construction activities.
•Preparation of civil/structural foundations and supports drawings for electrical and mechanical equipment such as Gas Insulated Bus ducts, cable tunnels, power buildings and substations, transformers, pumping stations, pipe supports and other related items in accordance with the agreed work scope, man hours and schedules.
•Produce and update steel/concrete structural layout and detail drawings in accordance with the scope of work.
•Detailed checking of structural steel and concrete engineering drawings, checking and understanding of vendor’s drawings for the preparation of fabrication or shop drawings.
•Insures that the completed engineering works falls with in the budget, specified timelines, contract, building codes and project specifications.

A license Civil Engineer with more than 15 years solid experience in preparation and checking of civil engineering drawings for civil works of electrical and mechanical equipment supports in Power Station, Pumping Station, Sewer, Roads and Drainage System.
Design/drafting of heavy industrial steel and concrete structures..
Proficient in using AutoCAD software in preparation of concept design and detailed construction drawings (2D & 3D).
Review and modification of as-built drawings.
Ability to work to time constraints, meet tight deadlines, work with limited supervision and ability to work well in cross-functional team environment and inter-discipline coordination.
Computer literate (Word, Excel & MS Windows) with basic knowledge of PRIMAVERA & STAAD.
