Chartered Accountant - Oil & Gas

To work for an upstream or downstream oil & gas company in the finance or accouting vertical

I'm currently working in Kuwait for an E&P company as a Deputy Finance Manager. I'm in charge of the finance activity of this company. My role encompasses preparation of budgets, comparision of acutals vs budgets and explaining the variances. Creation of Chart of Accounts and other accounting poilicies, maintenance and adherence to it. Laise with Auditors for year end audit & book closure. Preparation of monthly MIS for management.
My previous engagement was Geopetrol International Inc a E&P arm of Geoservice as Principal Finance Associate.
I was looking into the over all gamut of the operations viz a viz MIS to Head office in France on the Monthly operational aspects in India, preparation Annual Budgets, reviewing Monthly billings and analysis of variance between actuals and budgets and evaluation of new business and existing business.
Prior to this assignment I was working with Cairn Energy I pty ltd.
My experience includes Corporate reporting, Joint Venture reporting, Shared Services. In Corporate reporting my experience includes, interalia, the preparation of Monthly management pack, PTRR calculation, monthly MIS on budget variances, ageing analysis of Working Capital.

I'm a Chartered Accountant from India. I'm also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of Madras.
