Duties include carrying out routine maintenance, inspection, commission and applying fault finding techniques on a range of site analyser systems such as gas chromatography, spectroscopy, wet chemical, oxygen measurement, water analysis, safety, environmental and gas/liquid sampling systems.
Liaising with various types personnel, including over 100 analyser and component vendors for such activities as procurement, factory acceptance tests, sales representatives, vendor service visits and training as well as external auditors from enforcement agencies such as British Standards Institute and the Environmental Agency.
Competent in the use of IT packages and interpreting and amending drawings and procedures as required.
