Professional Experience
• Pakistan petroleum limited (Gas fields, Sui)
I completed my 4-week summer internship in Sui Gas field at compression station and purification plant mainly in maintenance department. Participated in the maintenance of turbo-machinery, heat exchangers and other process machinery.
• KSB pumps (foundry section, Hassan Abdal)
I completed my 4-week summer internship in foundry section of KSB. The company was planning to renew the foundry. The task was to study the present system and identify the wastes and losses. I made the process map and material flow layouts and observed foundry carefully. Applied lean manufacturing techniques and was able to come up with new layout reducing wastes and delays resulting in saving of 18000 Rs/month and increase in productivity by 1250 pumps per month.
