Study and review construction and general arrangement drawings and resolve technical problems.

Study of P & IDs, plot plans and civil structure details to make erection of machinery practicable.

Assist with equipment inspection, centering, leveling and alignment.

To assign major tasks & goals to the supervisors on daily and weekly basis with reference to equipment erection, installation and alignment.

To ensure that supervisors are executing their job in compliance with approved construction method statements and schedules.

Effective coordination with civil personnel and set priorities for civil structure with reference to equipments’ shipment and delivery schedules.

To coordinate with procurement department to make it possible the availability of tools, direct material and consumables well in time.

Respond to client queries to ensure that all activities are being carried out in strict compliance with international standards and codes (API, ASME, ISO, ANSI etc.)

WORK SCOPE:

Erection, installation & alignment of turbines, compressors & pumps. Some of the specialized machinery includes, GE Gas Turbine of capacity 25 MW Model MS 5001 PA (Frame 5), EBARA Centrifugal Pumps (> 5000 Rpm), GE Centrifugal Compressors.

CTMP Training (JUNE-07 to AUGUST-07):
Participated in CTMP (Construction, Technology, Management & Planning) at DESCON Headquarters. The purpose of this training was to familiarize the fresh engineers with corporate environment. The training comprised of different sections e.g. training of Primavera Project Planner, focus on management skills, optimization of resources.
