Professional Experience
•Manage group activities related to contracts, vendor/supplier ability to meet specifications and the purchase of raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, services and supplies;
•Interfacing on a day-to-day basis with project controls, engineering, home office purchasing and contractors;
•Implement and manage contracts with all construction service suppliers and all contract documents;
•Ensure timeous delivery of equipment/plant/consumables as per schedule;
•Manage the compilation and analysis of statistical data, trend and process tracking and record keeping;
•Manifest and issue all materials;
•Control and issue plant, organise repair / replacement as requested;
•Facilitate and, if necessary, accelerate the progress of construction being mindful to any improvements required;
•Complete all Customs and Excise documentation;
•Computer literate in all material systems, e.g. S.A.P./I.P.M.S./PAMMS/ENGARDE/VPRM/SMILE/FOCUS/JMS;
•Receive, store and dispose of surplus material;
•Control all air / sea movements;
•Site procurement – to provide adequate and timely supply of material and equipment for construction/commissioning schedules.
