Project Engineer: Aug1998 to present,
•Responsibilities include Coordinating client with the Fabrication yard and Planning dept.
•Studying Contract, Schedule and Scope of work and volume, Matrix of Price list, Method of measurement and project specification with drawings.
•Up dating Technical Queries from Client / contractor and advise concerned department for material, Labor cost increase if any.
•Review of specifications, MTO for raising requisition for Structural, process piping and E & I materials.
•Raising the change orders for Materials and man hours as per client change order request and obtain the approval.
•Verifying the work scope, monitoring and reporting the progress percentage.
•Site measurements for Structural, Piping, Mechanical work to evaluate additional jobs.
•Arranging materials and manpower for offshore activities ie: Installation, commissioning etc.

Sr. Procurement Engineer Jul 1989 -Aug 1998 J. Ray McDermott, Inc., Dubai
•Responsibilities include review of specifications, drawings, structural material take-off for ordering, progress monitoring, coordination with planning, MTO, QC, drafting and fabrication yard.
•Preparations of bidders list (BL), Selecting potential Suppliers from contractual vendors list.
•Assembly of Inquiry packages of equipments/ material attaching technical requisition documents (MR) and general procurement documents
•Procurement cost report, material reconciliation, project surplus material report etc.
•Obtaining manufacturing schedules / engineering & QC documents schedule from suppliers and confirm the same after verification with project requirements.
•Organizing a kick-off-meeting (KOM) with the supplier along with the Project Team / engineering team and Quality team.
•Confirming that the vendor understands the technical and commercial requirements.
•Obtain vendor sub vendors list and confirm the same after checking with contractual bidder list.
•Obtain vendors production program.
•Close monitoring with vendor for their engineering / Procurement / Manufacturing activities.
•Expediting with Sub vendors with Suppliers Expeditors.

•Responsible for cost estimation of steel structures, piping projects, vessels, storage tanks, repair and modification of marine vessels and barges.
•Cost estimation for Repair and modification of marine vessel, Jack-up rigs, Tanker, Barges etc.
•Work included material take off, pricing, bid bonds etc.

Mechanical Engineer: July 1985- Mar 1988 Kessler + Luch Gmbh,U.A.E.
•Worked for Aircraft Hangar projects. Responsibilities included detail engineering, supervision of industrial piping, HVAC, fire protection system including Halon.
•Utility underground pipelines, pumps expansion tanks, dosing units installation, testing, material submittal, approval and coordinating with consultant and other discipline contractors.

Assistant Engineer: Aug1981- Jan 1985(NPCC), Abudhabi, U.A.E. Seconded from Coflexip-Flexservice.
•Responsibilities included P & ID study, design of offshore deck piping layout, isometrics to ANSI B31.3.
•Submarine pipelines alignment sheet, sea bed profiles, pipeline crossing, anodes, riser clamp, mooring patterns for vessel, installation procedure, Load-out materials.

Supervisor: Mar 1977- Jan1981 Kavery Engineering Industries, India.
•Responsible for heavy steel fabrication,silos, large span trusses, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, internal piping & baffles.
