Career Objective
I am keen to launch a career in Material Science and Engineering within a multinational environment to further develop my confident presentation skills and ability at managing all phases of project life from need assessment through implementation.
Professional Experience
I am a confident and articulate public speaker. I have participated in a number of public debates to fight the course of over 27,000 students of Obafemi Awolowo University during its numerous parliamentary sittings and congresses. In addition to this, I have presented to challenging academic panels on my university honors thesis with superlative compliments from the project coordinator and other members who are eminently qualified to pass such compliments. While at Isoglass Industries limited, I was required to present a comprehensive report from the testing and evaluation of both toughened and laminated glasses under consideration by the management. Following my evaluation and subsequent presentation, the management was able to achieve 98% efficiency as against the initial 75% often recorded. The number of product being rejected and recycled drastically reduced.
I am adept user of the following packages;
Ms Excel, Ms Word, Ms Perfect 6.1 ,Ms Project 4.0, Ms Power Point, FORTRAN 77, MATLAB.
My project topic: “Simulation Of An Absorptive Plant-Gas Waste Diffusion System” looked at the application of current technology to the reduction of poisonous effluent gases into the atmosphere by ensuring a safe plant and process design. The project is under review for publication. Besides undertaking university studies, to keep my knowledge up to date, I regularly undertake my own research via the internet and relevant trade journals to determine the trend in the industry and identify applications to my own work.
