Geosciences/Reservoir Engineer (7 months)
I worked closely with the Reservoir Manager. Our aim is to help understand and optimize the production mechanism of Al Khalij field my main tasks were:
•Build and design the reservoir phenomenological model using ECLIPSE100
•Analyze and identify production mechanisms
•Assess main reservoir and wells sensitivities on production mechanisms and sweeping efficiency
•Assess faults' effect on observed interferences
•Discuss and optimize numerical diffusivity effect on instable Runs
•Issue synthesis on production mechanisms and interferences
•Present and discuss the results with the geosciences team
•Reproduce observed wells' behaviour and match typical wells' decline curve
•Create a phenomenological database containing different studied configurations
•Data acquisition create an Eclipse database of historical data
•Participate in the history match and provisional models
•Participate in reserves' estimation
•Help & supervision of a trainee
