Professional Experience
•Extensive experience and knowledge in detail piping design and engineering for oil and gas, power generation and petrochemical projects.
•Development of project engineering specifications and procedures and other work controlling documents.
•Review and revision of design philosophies, specifications, standards and procedures.
•Development of Plot Plan, Piping Conceptual Layouts, Piping Plans, Isometrics, Pipe Supports.
•Perform miscellaneous design calculations (pipe thickness etc).
•Execute other engineering activities specific to the Piping technical area such as Safety and Hazop reviews, 3D Plant Design reviews, P & ID reviews
•Review and comment on piping requisitions, and technical bid evaluations.
•Check and review vendor proposals, documentations and drawings.
•Act as Lead Engineer on Projects and Proposals, Lead or participate in project, client and vendor meetings.
•Prepare and check man-hours and material cost estimates.
•Insure project engineering activities comply with the company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
•Recommend changes that are in alignment with appropriate codes and standards
•Demonstrable track record in compliance with Safety & Environment standards.
•Proficient in AutoCAD, Smart Plant Review (SPR), MS office (MS Word,
MS Excel), MS Project, Suretrak Project Manager.
•Excellent Team Player, strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Scope and define the technical aspects of engineering projects and following the scope through to completion.
•Performing site visits to identify needs for implementing engineering changes and clarification of technical points.
•Interface all on-site departments as required to resolve technical problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.
•Ability to work under pressure for the successful completion of projects on time.
•Strong knowledge of construction Codes and Standards including API (especially API 6A), NACE (especially MR0175), NFPA, ASTM, ASME (especially B31.3, B31.4, B31.8

Master of Engineering - Major: Mechanical & Industrial Engineering (In progress, University of Toronto)
Bachelor of Engineering – Major: Mechanical Engineering (Pakistan)
Membership – Engineering Council (Pakistan)
