Chukwudi is a mechanical engineer with sound safety background and more than five (5) years post graduation working experience in the oil & gas industry in Nigeria. Chuks is a subject matter expert (SME) in contractor HSE management for Shell petroleum development company (SPDC), Warri. Chukwudi provided a consultancy support for HSE from the planning stage to execution such as assess & analyze HSE risks; Categorize mode of contract; Participate in the selection of contract HSE clauses; Identify eligible contractors; Evaluate HSE capability questionnaire; Band contractors (Red, Amber or Green); Participate on the HSE front during the evaluation, Participate in defining and facilitating approval for Contract HSE Plan; Ensure that pre- start up activities are in place prior to the beginning of work; Participate in the monitoring of the implementation of the Contract HSE plan and the need for continuous improvement in the contracting process (Supply chain management – Contract owner & Contract holder’s organisational accountabilities in relation to the contractor)

Prior to this, Chuks has a demonstrated capability to manage a multi skilled technical pool namely, Welder, Electrician, A/C & Fridge technician, laundry machine & gas technicians respectively; in an equipment maintenance project with SPDC. Chuks successfully implemented effective engineering procedures and rules of accepted safety conduct. These exposures enhanced my understanding of behavioural management.

Chuks although married is mobile and open to new challenges. Driven by success and achievements, Chukwudi always look for ways to do things better.
