AMEC Calgary 2001-2002
Area Manager, Syncrude
Managed the EDS phase (approximately $200 million) of the Material Handling Facility Area which includes the following facilities: MSE wall, crusher, surge feed conveyor, surge, mix box feed conveyor and the slurry preparation building complete with emergency dump ponds as well as the relocation of an existing extraction plant.

Managed the DBM phase (approximately $700 million) Utility & off-sites, co-generation plant, slurry and tailing lines.
Responsible for the quality, cost, schedule of engineering and procurement. Estimated at approx. $120 million.

Senior Project Engineer/Senior Mechanical Lead Design Engineer
Responsible for a fast track and cost driven project, approximately $400 million, for Union Carbide, a Poly-ethylene plant in Alberta.
Managed the Reaction Area Inside Battery Limits of this processing plant. Managed the detailed design,the computer 3D modeling, the procurement and the cost/schedule.
