Store Man

I hereby express my keenness to work in the onshore / offshore oil drilling or similar industries. I have a working experience of over 14 years in the material procurement, logistics, inventory and stores control activities

1) Inventory and stores control
2) Preparation of purchase order
3) Liaise with Principals/suppliers for speedy process of purchase orders
4) Co-ordinate with freight forwarders
5) Documents for imports/ customs clearance
6) Receiving and checking of goods for compliance with purchase order terms ensuring correctness of received goods/ quantities/quality.
7) Reporting to the supplier of discrepancies and preparation of necessary documents for claims/correction
8) Storage of goods in safe and proper locations in the Warehouse
9) Calculation of landing cost of all overseas purchases
10) Data entry of all stock and necessary information in the
system
11) Ensuring the materials issued to the technicians as per material requisitions
12) Preparation of necessary accurate reports for the Stores Manager, maintaining the stores department files, records , safety data sheets and product data sheets of all oil products and chemical. Carry out daily safety checks of these products to prevent fire and oil spillage
13) Ensure good house keeping practices are carried out
14) Deputies for the Stores Manager in his absence
15) Coordinate monthly stock checks
16) Invoicing to customer, arranging the proper and timely delivery of goods to the customer etc.
17) Employee’s time recording and preparing Management information reports.
18) Conduct internal auditing in the division to verify implementation of Quality , Fire and safety & Environmental Systems (ISO 9001 & 14001)

Pre Degree Passed from University of Calicut in 1984
