Duties: As a Driver operator, drives and operates Structural Pumpers, Mobile water supply tenders/tankers, ARFF T-3000 vehicles and rescue vehicles. Operates pumps, hoses, turrets and lays water supply line hose. Provides Fire protection for various small and large frame military or civilian aircraft. Responds to in-flight emergencies and aircraft crashes and fires.
As a Firefighter, extinguishes fires, rescues personnel endangered by fire in structural buildings and aircraft. Responds to automatic fire alarms, 911 calls and medical calls. Provides assessment, medical care and treatment. Operates scba self contained breathing apparatus when subject to smoke, fire and hazardous material environments. Operates hoses, nozzles, ladders, rescue equipment. Resets smoke and fire alarms. Serves as an alarm room operator/dispatcher for fire, aircraft, rescue and medical emergencies.

Responds to hazardous material related incidents to include CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives) useing protective clothing/suits to control, plug or patch.
