FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - GAS PLANT ELECTRICAL OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE.(AUTHORISED ELECTRICAL PERSON+)

TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE SUSTAINABILTY OF OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION VIZ A VIZ ELECTRICAL OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE.REDUCE TO THE BAREST MINIMUM EQUIPMENT DOWNTIME AND MANPOWER SHORTAGE.

Ø Carry out switching and prepare switching procedures for Electrical switching.
Ø Issue Electrical High and Low voltage isolation certificates as an Authorised Electrical person +.
Ø Daily routine operations in LGSP and Soku Flow-Station
Ø Carried out yearly and two yearly transformer oil test/Maintenance.
Ø Carried out yearly High Voltage switchgear maintenance
Ø Collected and updated Soku Gas Plant Electrical facility/Equipment data.
Ø Worked with HSE audit team on Environmental management systems issues.
Ø Daily equipment parameter logging and analysis for UPS systems and Power Generation Units in Soku Gas Plant.
Ø Worked with Solar turbine field Engineers Reps. on 4000hrs, 8000hrs Inspection, Shear pin replacement, Calibrations, Oil leak fault rectification, Flame failure fault rectification, Gearbox fault, installation of turbotronics display software, trained new staff, daily unit logging and analysis respectively on Tarus 60 turbine Generator.
Ø Supervise and mentor contractor staff and subordinates respectively.
Ø Track and carry out unsafe act, near miss and accidents audits actions.
Ø Track, identify and report potential Hazards in work environment to LGSP HSE coordinator.
Ø Track, analyse and calculate power generation unit utilization and availability percentage for monthly NAPIMS report.
Ø Maintenance of Electrical facilities/equipments such as transformers, HV and LV motors, alternators, switchgears, cathodic protection systems, Earthing and Lightning systems, feeders and UPS systems. Etc.
Ø Liaised with NLNG staff for monthly cathodic protection inspection.
Ø Participate in HSE drills and emergency responds actions/activities.
Ø Create and close out, manage, prepare purchase requisition, purchase order and material ordering in SAP.
