My last position was Ship Manager at Nigerdock in Lagos.
During this time I was responsible for all repair/maintenance projects allocated to me by the Yard GM.
Depending on the scope of the project I normally had +/- 100 workers of all trades, including HOD's and subcontractors under my control.
I also built up excellent working relationships with my clients, who included, Edison Chouest Offshore, Lamnalco, Hercules Offshore, and Smit.
Vessel's included, PSV, AHT, FRAC boats, Habour Tugs, Jack up rigs and coastal tankers and dredgers.
I was also responsible for all HSE requirements of these projects.
I was also involved with the mentoring of our local employees programme.
