Professional Experience
More than 20 Years’ experience in FOOD AND CATERING, with an initial 3 years - hotel school.
I have had various management roles of which my duties included, staff employment, cash reconciliation, stocktaking, menu planning and costing, and function co-ordination.
I am also proficient in food inspection for micro laboratories, such as catering facilities, fast food, restaurants and food production facilities. Other courses I have attended are, Industrial Relations 1 2 3, Catering Management, Administration and N3 Matric.
I have approximately two years experience within a large Retail organisation with Receiving and Produce Management experience.
For the last 4 years prior to moving to Nelspruit I was working on a contract basis as a Chef for a conference facility in Norwood.
Since moving to Nelspruit I spent the first two years building our house and also working for myself, working extensively in Swaziland and doing functions etc.
For the past 17 months, I was employed as the Deli Manager and then the last 6 as the Bakery & Deli Manager at Westend KWIKSPAR.
Whilst still at school I worked part time panel beating and spray painting cars, hot rods and vintage in particular and I also assisted my Father who was a mechanic., who was able to teach me what I know today.
