I have special knowledge in the field of fire, emergency management and disaster management. My twelve years in the SHERQ environment has exposed me to different types of emergency scenarios. This exposure included my active participation in Hazards identification, Process, Non-process risk assessments and Managements Systems for the Department and entire business organization. I also participate a lot as an Incident Commander in all emergencies in Sasol Secunda (Petrochemical Industry) site.

I was involved in reviewing and studying International Fire Protection and Safety Standards for the Floating Production Storage and Offloading, and Oil Platforms which I was assigned on in terms of Safety compliance based on American Bureau of Shipping Standard.

I am passionate about my job and although my knowledge of the Risk Management discipline may be limited, I am a quick learner and my ability to think outside the parameters of my job make me an ideal candidate for this position
